Honda
City has been one of the most favourite models for sedan lovers in India. Right
from its inception, this car has been able to grab the limelight of car lovers.
The car is powered by 1498 cc engine, which is capable 98.6 bhp at the rate of
3600 rpm. The maximum torque output 200 Nm at a reduced rpm. With a six-speed
transmission, the new generation model is provided with the Four Wheel Drive
(FWD) system. With exceptional comfort and smart features, this sedan has
emerged as one of the most successful in this segment.
There
are several variants in the diesel segment for this car, which slightly vary
from each other with respect to features and pricing. The I DTEC E model in the
diesel category is priced at 8.4 lakhs INR and has an impressive mileage of 26
kilometres per litre. Additionally, the Honda City comes in I DTEC S and IDTEC
SV model, which have similar features and priced at 9 lakhs and 9.5 lakhs INR,
respectively. Apart from these models, the brand has also launched two more
diesel variants, the I DTEC V and I DTEC VX models, which are a bit more
expensive at 10.1 lakhs INR and 11.1 lakhs INR, respectively.
The
petrol models of this car come under similar nomenclature but with a lower
price tagging. The I VTEC E model is tagged at 7.2 lakh INR, while the I VTEC S
and I VTEC SV models have a tag of 7.8 lakh INR and 8.4 lakhs INR,
respectively. Apart from these models, the City comes I VTEC V and I VTEC CVT
SV comes at a higher 9 lakhs and 9.4 lakhs INR. Also, the new I VTEC VX and I
VTEC CVT VX models are some of the higher end models of City at 9.9 lakhs and
11 lakhs INR.
