Hyundai unveils official images and details of new
H350 cargo van, which was unveiled at the Hannover Motor Show
This is the Hyundai
H350 panel van, which was previewed earlier in the month and has now been fully
unveiled to the public. At the moment Hyundai aren't confirming whether or
not it will be coming to the UK.
The H350 the
South Korean manufacturer’s first LCV developed specifically for Europe and is
based on a flexible platform designed to support three body styles: cargo van,
minibus and flatbed truck. It sits alongside Hyundai's smaller iLoad van
and will take the fight directly to the Ford
Transit and Mercedes Sprinter.
As you can
see, the exterior styling borrows from Hyundai’s design language, featuring a
hexagonal grille that flows seamlessly into wraparound headlights. There are
LED daytime running lights as well, plus sculpted flanks designed to segment
the van’s high-rising side panels.
Inside, the
three-seat layout is paired to a multifunction, four-spoke steering wheel and
large centre console that again serves to emphasise the car-like pretensions.
It’s not
about style over substance though, with Hyundai claiming excellent cabin and
cargo storage – the H350 has a payload of up to 1.4 tonnes and towing capacity
of 2.5 tonnes.
