No matter the time,
a lot of preparation before setting off to help in less than two months, we will be celebrating Hari
Raya. According to calculations,
the first day of Eid will fall on Monday, July 28th and on
the road usually crowded
and congested. Although
not in the festive season, the habit of taking care of the vehicle and alert
the drive can
prevent users from accidents.
The following steps and reminders that can be taken to prepare and vehicles before traveling as blow details:
1 - Rest adequately
Some feel sleepy after eating a heavy meal, or in the evening after breaking fast. Most importantly, get enough rest and do not force yourself to drive. Driving while sleepy is very dangerous. Plan a trip and started after the body was fresh and ready to drive.
2 - take turns driving
Share the responsibility to take turns driving. This is important so that you can rest or nap during the long journey. However, if you drive one, put some music and open windows. 3 - Get travel information
Get the latest information on current traffic conditions from radio or mobile device applications. Most of the highway concessionaires to provide the latest information on website traffic and twitter accounts. Contact the highway operator if necessary to get any updates. If you use a smartphone, app Waze can provide direct information about the traffic.
4 - Check the tires, radiator
Make sure the tires are in good condition. How about a spare tire? Make sure it is in the best condition to be used if there is an emergency. Please fill in the wind at night and check the temperature when the tires start to cool. If you need to fill out the wind or tire pressure when the tire is hot, make sure you add at least 5psi of each proposal on a given tire pressure.
5 - Service vehicles
If you want a comfortable ride and without interruption, it is a necessity. Please check the brake oil, clutch (if the car is manual), air conditioning, and wipers. Get a mechanic to do the inspection workshop to your vehicle. Do not wait until the last minute to send the vehicle to be maintained to avoid any complications or the possibility of your vehicle can not be serviced in the proper period.

As an option, consider becoming a member of the Automobile Association of Malaysia (MAA). If not, many insurance companies provide 24-hour assistance. We propose MSIG because if you use the PLUS highway, you can contact them on emergency lines along the highway. PLUS also provides assistance Workshop-on-Wheels (WOW) by simply calling 1-800-22-300. Safety should be a priority when driving, especially if the extra distance to travel. Hopefully these tips provided can help you to come home safely.
